Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 cup finely shredded cabbage
- 3 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust to taste
- 1 package round potsticker or gyoza wrappers
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, for cooking
- 1/2 cup water, for steaming
Instructions:
In a bowl, combine ground pork, shredded cabbage, chopped green onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes
Mix well to form the potsticker filling
Place a small amount of filling in the center of each potsticker wrapper
Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it in half, creating a half-moon shape
Press the edges to seal the potsticker
Repeat until all the potstickers are assembled
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat
Arrange the potstickers in the skillet, ensuring they are not touching each other
Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the bottoms are golden brown
Carefully add water to the skillet, cover, and steam the potstickers for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the filling is cooked through
Remove the lid and let the potstickers cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the bottoms to crisp up again
Serve the sweet and spicy potstickers hot with your favorite dipping sauce
