A quick and easy Instant Pot recipe for gluten-free spaghetti. Great for people who are sensitive to gluten or who want an easy and tasty weeknight dinner.
Ingredients:
- 8 oz gluten-free spaghetti
- 2 cups water
- 1 24 oz jar gluten-free marinara sauce
- 1/2 lb ground beef or ground turkey for a lighter option
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese optional, for topping
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish optional
Instructions:
Add the olive oil and set the Instant Pot to Saut mode
Add the chopped onion and garlic once the oil is hot
Saut them for two to three minutes, until they smell good and become slightly clear
Its time to add the ground beef or turkey
Use a spoon to break it up as it cooks so it turns brown
You can add red pepper flakes, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper
Add the water and gluten-free marinara sauce, and mix it well
You can split the gluten-free spaghetti in half and put it in the Instant Pot
Make sure its covered in sauce
Put the lid back on the Instant Pot and turn the valve to Sealing
Then, set the heat to high and use Manual or Pressure Cook mode for 5 minutes
When the cooking cycle is over, carefully turn the valve to Venting to let the steam out and quickly release the pressure
Be careful, because the steam is hot
As soon as the float valve drops and all the pressure is gone, carefully open the Instant Pot lid
Make sure the sauce covers all of the spaghetti by stirring it
If you want, you can serve the gluten-free spaghetti hot with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves on top
