Ingredients:
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions, for garnish
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions:
Put soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and sweet chili sauce in a small bowl
Put away
Put vegetable oil in a big pan or wok and heat it over medium-high heat
Stir-fry the shrimp for two to three minutes, until they begin to turn pink
Take the shrimp out of the pan and set it aside
If you need to, add more oil to the same pan and then add the onion and bell peppers
To make the vegetables tender-crisp, stir-fry them for three to four minutes
Add the minced garlic to the pan and stir-fry for another 30 seconds, until the garlic smells good
Put the shrimp back in the pan, and then pour the sweet chili sauce mixture over everything
Thoroughly mix the shrimp and vegetables to cover them all
Add two to three more minutes of cooking, until the sauce gets a little thicker and everything is hot
Add some chopped green onions as a garnish
Serve hot on top of rice that has been cooked
