Ingredients:
- 1 loaf of rustic bread
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Assorted charcuterie prosciutto, salami, chorizo, etc
- Assorted cheeses brie, cheddar, gouda, etc
- Olives, pickles, and roasted nuts for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375F 190C
Cut the rustic bread in half lengthwise, creating two large slices
In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, softened butter, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper
Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread slices
Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, buttered side up, and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and toasted
Remove the toasted garlic bread from the oven and let it cool slightly
Arrange the assorted charcuterie and cheeses on a serving platter or board
Slice the toasted garlic bread into smaller pieces or strips and add them to the charcuterie and cheese arrangement
Garnish the charcuterie board with olives, pickles, and roasted nuts
