Ingredients:
- 1 lb Shady Brook Farmsr ground turkey
- 6 slices bacon
- 4 burger buns
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Set the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat to heat it up
Make 4 burger patties out of the turkey
Add pepper and salt
After cooking bacon until its crispy, drain it on paper towels
Spray olive oil on the burger patties and cook them on the grill for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked
Each burger should have a slice of cheese on top during the last two minutes of cooking
Let the cheese melt
On the grill, toast the burger buns until they are just barely golden
Put mayonnaise and Dijon mustard in a small bowl and mix them together
Cover the bottom half of each bun with the mayonnaise mixture
After putting the lettuce leaves on top of the mayonnaise mix, add the turkey burger patties
Put bacon, tomato slices, and red onion on top of each burger
Place the top half of the bun on top and serve right away
