Ingredients:
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips additional, for mixing in
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet
Melt 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips and unsalted butter in a bowl that can go in the microwave
Stir the mixture every 20 seconds until it is smooth and well combined
All-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt should all be mixed together in a different bowl
Granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract should be mixed well in a different bowl
Slowly add the chocolate mixture that has been melted to the sugar and egg mix while stirring all the time
Add the dry ingredients and mix them in until they are just combined
Add the last 1/2 cup of semisweet chocolate chips and mix them in
Using a spoon or cookie scoop, place dough balls on the baking sheet that has been prepared, leaving a few inches between each one
After the oven is hot, bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the tops are cracked and puffed up
After taking the cookies out of the oven, sprinkle a little sea salt on top of each one right away
Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way
The cookies are ready to eat once they have cooled down
