Watergate Salad, also known as Pistachio Delight or Green Fluff, is a classic and easy dessert salad thats perfect for potlucks, picnics, or as a sweet side dish for any occasion. It features a delightful combination of pistachio pudding, crushed pineapple, marshmallows, and pecans, all folded together with whipped topping for a creamy and refreshing treat.
Ingredients:

- 4 oz package instant pistachio pudding mix
- 1 20 oz can crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 1/2 cups whipped topping e

- 1/2 cup shredded coconut optional
- Maraschino cherries for garnish optional
Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the instant pistachio pudding mix and the undrained crushed pineapple
Stir in the miniature marshmallows and chopped pecans
Fold in the whipped topping until everything is well combined
If desired, add shredded coconut and gently mix it in
Cover and refrigerate the salad for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld
Garnish with maraschino cherries before serving, if desired
