This Tasty Sweet Chili Shrimp recipe combines succulent shrimp with a sweet and tangy chili sauce for a deliciously flavorful dish. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or as an appetizer for gatherings.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 green onions, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
Put minced garlic and ginger, lime juice, honey, salt, and pepper in a bowl
Add sweet chili sauce and mix it all together
Toss the shrimp around in the bowl after adding them
For at least 15 minutes, let it sit
Put vegetable oil in a pan and heat it over medium-high heat
Put the shrimp in the pan after marinating them
Cook for two to three minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked all the way through
Take the shrimp out of the pan and add chopped green onions on top before serving
